Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and individualized education sessions for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Develop and implement tailored instructional plans that meet students’ unique communication and learning needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student progress.
- Utilize telehealth technology effectively to maintain engagement and ensure clear communication.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Provide training and resources to families and staff on best practices for supporting students with hearing challenges.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
- Experience delivering instruction and support to deaf or hard of hearing students via telehealth platforms.
- Strong knowledge of communication modalities, assistive technology, and hearing-related educational strategies.
- Ability to independently manage caseloads and deliver quality services remotely.
