Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) – Full-Time
Location: Florence, AZ
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a full-time, onsite opportunity in Florence, Arizona for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing while collaborating with a multidisciplinary educational team.
Position Details:
Full-time, onsite position
2026–2027 school year
Caseload and grade level details to be discussed during the interview process
Supportive school district with opportunity for contract renewal based on performance and district needs
Responsibilities:
Provide direct instructional services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
Support student access to the general education curriculum through individualized instruction and accommodations
Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to promote student success
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with IEP goals
Serve as a resource for school staff regarding hearing accommodations and communication strategies
Requirements:
Active Arizona Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Certification required
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
