Virtual Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher in CT
This position involves providing specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing through telehealth services. The role requires delivering educational content remotely, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs, and collaborating with educational staff to enhance learning outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct telehealth sessions tailored for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and educational activities.
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional techniques accordingly.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure to teach students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
- Experience in telehealth or remote education methods preferred.
- Strong understanding of auditory and visual learning strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students virtually.
- Commitment to creating inclusive and accessible learning environments.
