Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification for Virginia is required.
- Skilled in supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing, with the ability to work collaboratively within an educational team.
- Proficient in braille and in providing direct services or instructional support to students with visual impairments.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Previous experience in a similar education setting is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to a student with TVI needs, working on-site within the school.
- Support the integration of individualized educational plans, adapting resources as necessary to optimize learning.
