Virtual Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher in VA

Seeking a skilled Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing support to deliver telehealth services within an educational setting. This contract role, based in Henrico, VA, involves providing specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments through virtual platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and therapeutic services via telehealth to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Collaborate with educational teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Conduct assessments to determine student needs and progress in communication and auditory skills.
• Provide guidance and resources to families and school staff regarding communication strategies and accommodations.
• Maintain accurate records of services delivered and participate in regular team meetings.

Qualifications and Experience:
