- Valid state or national certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing

- Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations
- Proficiency in sign language (ASL or other) preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and related service providers
- Compassionate, patient, and creative approach to diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging instruction that meets the unique needs of Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies to ensure accessibility
