- Participate in ongoing professional development relevant to deaf education and telehealth methodologies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
- Experience working with children who are deaf or hard of hearing in an educational setting.
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and digital instructional tools.
- Strong communication skills, including knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) is preferred but not required.
- Ability to conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
