Remote Teach of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing | Arkansas
A specialized opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to deliver telehealth services in an educational setting. This contract position is based in Little Rock, Arkansas, and focuses on supporting students with hearing impairments through remote instruction and intervention.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized instructional strategies and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing via telehealth platforms
- Collaborating with families, educational teams, and other professionals to develop and implement IEP goals
- Conducting assessments and monitoring student progress in auditory and speech development
- Utilizing assistive technology and communication tools effectively to enhance learning outcomes

Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification/licensure in Deaf Education or related credentials focused on hearing impairments
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in educational or therapeutic settings
