The position runs for a full semester, beginning ASAP with an end date of May 22, 2026, offering specialized support to a small caseload of 5th-grade students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and support to deaf and hard of hearing 5th-grade students.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with state guidelines.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to integrate students effectively.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Communicate regularly with families to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Educator license with Hearing Impaired endorsement (license must be current and included in application).
- Experience working with deaf/hard of hearing students in an elementary school setting.
