Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) or Special Education Teacher with DHH endorsement to provide part-time support across multiple school locations. This role focuses on supporting students with hearing impairments and ensuring equitable access to instruction.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and/or consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Support IEP development and implementation
- Adapt instructional materials for accessibility and communication needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed
Qualifications

Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate in one of the following areas:
- Special Education – Deaf Education (P–12), OR
- Special Education General Curriculum (P–12) with Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement
- Experience working in school-based special education settings preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
