Travel Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist - Little Falls, Minnesota
An opportunity is available for a skilled Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist to provide expert educational support in a dynamic school environment. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Proven experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students in K-12 settings
- Strong knowledge of language acquisition, communication strategies, and assistive technology
- Ability to assess and adapt instructional methods to individual student needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and support staff
Location: Primarily based in Little Falls, MN with travel to multiple school sites as required.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of deaf and hard of hearing students
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress to inform individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to ensure accessibility and inclusion
