Key Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure in teaching Deaf/Hard of Hearing students or related specialization
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in inclusive or specialized classroom settings
- Proficiency in communication methods appropriate for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, such as American Sign Language (ASL) or auditory-verbal techniques
- Ability to design differentiated lesson plans that accommodate varied learning needs and promote student engagement
- Strong collaboration skills to partner effectively with support staff, families, and other educators

Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom instruction tailored to the learning styles of Deaf and Hard of Hearing elementary students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
- Foster an inclusive classroom culture that encourages social and academic growth
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including speech therapists, audiologists, and counselors
- Utilize assistive technologies and resources to enhance communication and learning outcomes
