Qualifications:
- Hold a valid California Teaching Credential with Deaf and Hard of Hearing authorization
- Previous experience in school-based settings is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with students, families, and team members
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative specialized instruction for students with hearing impairments in a variety of educational settings
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) tailored to student needs
- Employ evidence-based strategies to foster students’ academic growth and engagement
- Work collaboratively with general education staff, related service providers, and families to promote inclusion and success
- Support students’ social, emotional, and communication needs within and outside the classroom
- Maintain accurate records and ongoing documentation as required
