Position Overview:
We are seeking a Virtual Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to support an itinerant caseload of elementary and middle school students. This role includes both direct and indirect services and supports students with IEPs and 504 plans. The caseload includes approximately 20–25 students, with one student receiving ASL interpreter support. This position is open to VOCO/virtual candidates.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and indirect instructional services to DHH students
Support a caseload of 20–25 elementary and middle school students
Develop and implement IEP and 504 plan services
Monitor and support student access to curriculum and communication needs
Oversee and report any issues related to hearing equipment to the audiologist
Collaborate with school staff and related service providers
Qualifications:
Certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education required
ASL fluency preferred
Experience working with itinerant caseloads preferred
Strong virtual service delivery and communication skills
