Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current licensure/endorsement and relevant certifications required
- Experience working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing in a school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt instruction based on individual student needs
- Must be able to work onsite (district requires in-person presence only)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Employ a variety of communication methods, including sign language as appropriate
- Support classroom teachers and staff to ensure inclusion and accessibility
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary
- Provide advocacy and promote self-advocacy skills for students
Additional Position Details:
- Full-time contract (37 hours per week)
- Assignment dates: ASAP through June 4, 2027
- Specific caseload information to be discussed during the interview process
