Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing

- Strong collaboration skills to work with teachers, counselors, and support staff
- Passion for promoting student independence and advocating for accessible learning experiences
- Effective communication abilities with students, families, and colleagues
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Provide direct instruction and support in a variety of settings (classroom, small groups, or one-on-one)
- Adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies to meet students’ needs
- Consult with general education teachers and staff to ensure accessibility and inclusion in all learning activities
- Serve as a resource to families, offering guidance on advocacy and community resources
- Regularly assess student progress and communicate results to the educational team
