Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification for teaching students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Thorough knowledge of instructional strategies and educational technologies suited to Deaf/Hard of Hearing learners
- Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong skills in American Sign Language (ASL) or other communication modalities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, specialists, and families

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver tailored lessons that address students’ individual learning goals
- Adapt curriculum and materials to suit varied communication and academic needs
- Monitor student progress and provide ongoing assessments
- Collaborate on IEP development and ensure appropriate accommodations are in place
- Facilitate effective communication between students, families, and staff
- Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development
- Advocate for student needs and ensure equitable educational access
