Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH) - Covington, Kentucky

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Hearing Impaired (HI) teaching certification required
- Previous experience as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (preferred)
- Comfortable working with students across a range of ages and hearing needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and adapt lesson plans for deaf and hard of hearing students
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support accommodations for deaf/hard of hearing students
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive learning
- Consult with families and participate in IEP meetings
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Provide educational strategies and advocate for students’ individual needs
- Support students across multiple school sites as needed
