This contract role places you in multiple dynamic school environments, beginning July 27th, 2026, and extending through May 25th, 2027. You'll work part time—approximately 20 hours weekly—crafting inclusive learning experiences and fostering growth for students with hearing challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate in Special Education – Deaf Education (P–12), or
- Georgia certification in Special Education General Curriculum (P–12) with Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement
- Experience supporting or instructing students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to support students across multiple school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans for students with hearing loss
- Employ special instructional strategies and resources tailored to students’ diverse needs
- Facilitate communication using sign language, assistive technologies, or other modalities
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialist teams, and families
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed
- Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment
