Key Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate in Special Education – Deaf Education (P–12), or Special Education General Curriculum (P–12) with a Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement.
- Experience or strong interest in teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting curriculum to varied learning needs.
- Exceptional communication abilities, with the capability to collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families.
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or willingness to learn and use assistive communication strategies.
