A Dallas, TX-based school is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing to support students from Pre-K through 6th grade. This on-site contract position offers 21-35 hours per week, with a schedule of at least three days weekly (7-hour days). The role is ideal for professionals with experience in school settings and active Texas certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of students from Pre-K to 6th grade.
  • Conduct evaluations and attend Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings.
  • Read and interpret audiograms to support individualized student needs.
  • Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement instructional plans.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Teaching License in Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
  • Previous experience in Texas school-based environments.
  • Knowledge of assessment procedures and individualized education program (IEP) development.

Location: On-site position in Dallas, Texas; support provided at a single campus.

Contract Duration: Immediate start through May 21, 2026.
