Teacher of the Deaf in Everett, WA

Your expertise in deaf education will be valued as you collaborate with colleagues and engage with students using state-of-the-art Digital & soundfield systems. Students wear amplification devices, allowing for innovative approaches to accessible learning.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Certified as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
- Hold current WA SLP and ESA credentials
- Experience supporting students across preschool to middle school age
- Proficiency working with diverse learners and utilizing assistive technology
- Strong communication skills with both students and collaborative team members
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers to facilitate mainstreaming
- Track student progress, making data-driven instructional adjustments as needed
- Communicate regularly with families to support student success
