Your expertise in deaf education will be valued as you collaborate with colleagues and engage with students using state-of-the-art Digital & soundfield systems. Students wear amplification devices, allowing for innovative approaches to accessible learning.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Certified as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
  • Hold current WA SLP and ESA credentials
  • Experience supporting students across preschool to middle school age
  • Proficiency working with diverse learners and utilizing assistive technology
  • Strong communication skills with both students and collaborative team members

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to facilitate mainstreaming
  • Track student progress, making data-driven instructional adjustments as needed
  • Communicate regularly with families to support student success
