DHH Teacher | Lynnwood, Washington

What You’ll Need:
- Active Washington State Teaching Certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
- WA ESA credential
- Proven experience teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing, ideally across multiple ages or grade levels (PreK-8 preferred)
- Strong skills using and integrating assistive technology for hearing and communication
- Ability to develop and adapt curriculum to support each student’s unique needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and student advocacy skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging lessons focused on language, literacy, and communication skill development
- Collaborate with mainstream teachers and support staff to coordinate inclusive opportunities
- Monitor student progress and adapt instruction as needed
- Utilize state-of-the-art amplification technology to support student access and learning
- Foster a positive, encouraging classroom environment
