- Demonstrated commitment to supporting individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Willingness to be onsite—this role is not remote or virtual
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, developing personalized lesson plans
- Collaborate with general education staff, speech-language pathologists, families, and administrators
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Modify curriculum and integrate assistive technology to maximize student engagement
- Advocate for accommodations and inclusive practices to empower students in mainstream or specialized settings
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to team discussions, and maintain accurate records
