Schedule: 7 hours/day, 5 days/week (On-Site, Itinerant)
Contract Dates: August 5, 2026 – June 1, 2027
Job Overview:
Blazer Jobs is seeking a qualified Itinerant Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide services across multiple K–12 school sites along the Southeast Florida coast. This full-time, on-site role supports students with hearing impairments through direct services, screenings, and district-wide collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Provide DHH services to students across various K–12 school locations
Assist with Functional Listening Evaluations (FLEs) throughout the district
Support Usher Syndrome screenings district-wide
Collect audiological evaluations and upload documentation into PEER
Collaborate with school teams, audiologists, and district staff
Maintain accurate records, service logs, and required documentation
Support communication access and student success across diverse educational environments
Requirements
Active Florida DOE Certification (Required)
Strong knowledge of DHH instructional strategies and communication modalities
Ability to travel between school sites (itinerant role)
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
