Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid GA Educator Certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing required
- Experience working with school-aged children with hearing differences
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong documentation and time management skills (district requires daily service logs)
- Ability to adapt to multiple school locations as needed
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Design and modify curriculum and instructional approaches to meet individual student needs
- Maintain accurate daily records of services provided per district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support students’ learning
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress assessments
- Travel between school sites within the district as assigned
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
