What You Bring:
- Valid Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDDHH) certification
- Current IVP fingerprint card
- Experience supporting Deaf or Hard of Hearing elementary students is highly valued
- Commitment to creating engaging, individualized learning experiences
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and participate in virtual interviews
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support for K-5 learners with hearing differences
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Offer ongoing resources, strategies, and advocacy to promote student success and inclusion
- Assess student progress regularly and communicate updates to the school team
- Participate in virtual meetings and adapt support as needed with changing enrollment
