Key Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona teaching certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)
- Current IVP fingerprint clearance card required
- Experience creating and implementing IEPs for students
- Knowledge of effective instructional strategies for DHH students
- Strong organizational skills and ability to develop daily lesson plans
- Willingness to travel between school sites (mileage reimbursed)
- Flexibility to work across various grade levels (K-12)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, utilizing individualized strategies and accommodations
- Prepare and execute daily lesson plans tailored to student needs
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations to guide educational decisions
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in coordination with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress monitoring
- Adapt teaching methods to optimize learning in a variety of classroom settings
This full-time, itinerant contract offers 40 hours per week and a highly competitive hourly pay rate between $40 and $44. Comprehensive health insurance is available to support your well-being.
