Key Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona license for Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) teaching required
- Current IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Previous experience teaching K-12 students with hearing differences preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel between multiple school locations within the region
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction to students with hearing loss, adapting lessons to individual needs
- Prepare and implement daily lesson plans in accordance with curriculum standards
- Perform evaluations and ongoing progress monitoring
- Write, review, and carry out Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with other educators, related service providers, and families
- Maintain accurate records and reporting in compliance with school and legal guidelines
This is a W2 hourly contract position offering between $40-44 per hour. Comprehensive health insurance is available, supporting your well-being while you support your students.
