Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid and current education certification, with specialization in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
  • Demonstrated experience working with elementary school-aged children

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to interpret IEPs and contribute to multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, accessible lesson plans that meet the unique needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing elementary students
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate inclusion and student success
  • Evaluate student progress and adapt instruction accordingly
