An elementary-level professional is needed to provide specialized instruction and support for deaf and hard of hearing students during the 2026-2027 school year in San Antonio, TX. This full-time, contract position requires a dedicated educator passionate about fostering an inclusive learning environment tailored to students' unique communication and learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction to deaf and hard of hearing students in elementary grades
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech therapists, and support staff to develop and implement effective educational plans
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Facilitate communication between students, families, and school personnel to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid education certification specific to teaching deaf and hard of hearing students is required
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students who are deaf or hard of hearing preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to use specialized instructional strategies and assistive technology for hearing-impaired students
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and student-centered teaching approaches

Location: San Antonio, Texas (onsite)
