High School DHH Teacher | Austin, Texas

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Deaf/Hard of Hearing Education required; Master’s degree highly valued
- Active Texas Department of Education Certification
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Prior experience working with high school aged students preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction tailored to the needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
- Develop individualized educational plans and modify general curriculum as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Advocate for student needs and accessibility within the high school environment
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support
- Create an inclusive classroom that encourages participation and learning
