We are actively seeking dedicated professionals to provide essential instruction and support services for the remainder of the school year. This contract role is located near Kyle, TX, and will run through May 2025.

Key Role Details:

  • Full-time commitment: 40 hours per week
  • Immediate start with placement through the end of the school year
  • Caseload involves 40 students: 10 receive direct in-person services, while 30 benefit from indirect support, which can be provided virtually
  • Hourly compensation is competitive, ranging from $35 to $40+ based on experience

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education specializing in Teaching Deaf or Hard of Hearing Students
  • Current Texas certification in Teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students
  • Prior experience working with school-age children is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to create and adapt educational plans
  • Provide both direct in-person and indirect virtual services, depending on student needs
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as required
