A contract opportunity is available for a Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, providing telehealth services. This role is based in Annapolis, MD, and involves delivering specialized instruction and support remotely to meet students’ unique communication and learning needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting telehealth sessions tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Developing individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Implementing tailored instructional strategies and communication techniques to support student success
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional methods accordingly
- Collaborating with families, school staff, and related service providers to ensure continuity of care and education
- Utilizing assistive technology and telecommunication tools to enhance learning experiences
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
- Experience providing telehealth or remote instruction services
