Remote Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing | Maryland
An opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This contract role is based in Bowie, MD, and focuses on delivering remote support and instruction to students with hearing impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing through telehealth platforms
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to enhance students’ communication and academic skills
- Utilize assistive technology and telecommunication tools effectively to engage and instruct students remotely

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
