An opportunity is available for a Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, delivering instruction through telehealth services. This contract role supports educational needs virtually, providing specialized communication and academic assistance to students with hearing impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver instructional services to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing using telehealth technology.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ specific hearing and learning needs.
- Collaborate with educational professionals, families, and audiologists to support student progress.
- Utilize specialized tools and strategies to promote language development, literacy, and auditory skills remotely.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, student progress, and communication with stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure in teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
- Proven experience working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in educational settings.
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and remote instructional technologies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage students and collaborate with families.
