Remote Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing | Texas

Providing specialized instruction and support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing through telehealth services is the primary focus of this role. This position is based in Dallas, TX, and requires delivering effective remote educational services within a school setting on a contractual basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments via telehealth platforms.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create and implement tailored educational plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of sessions and student performance.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in deaf education and telehealth technologies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
- Experience providing instructional services in a remote or telehealth environment preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with assistive technology and educational tools for students with hearing impairments.
