Job Title: Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH)
Location: Colorado | Remote
Employment Type: 1099 Contract | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available
Starting Pay: $45+/hour
Caseload Details: Discussed during the interview process
Responsibilities
- Provide direct instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Develop and implement IEP goals and accommodations
- Collaborate with teachers, families, interpreters, and special education teams
- Monitor student progress and maintain documentation
- Assist with communication access and educational success
- Attend IEP and team meetings as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Deaf Education or related field
- Active Colorado teaching certification with DHH endorsement or ability to obtain
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience working in virtual settings preferred
