A specialized opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing to deliver telehealth services. This role is designed to support students through virtual instruction and targeted interventions, ensuring accessibility and tailored educational experiences.

Position Location:

  • Everett, WA (Telehealth-based)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with hearing impairments via telehealth platforms.
  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies based on assessment data.
  • Provide consultative services to educators, families, and other stakeholders to promote effective communication and learning.
  • Utilize assistive technology and resources to enhance learning experiences.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress notes, and compliance with applicable regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing or equivalent licensure.
  • Experience in delivering telehealth services within an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of audiological principles, speechreading, and language development.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational professionals.
  • Proficiency with virtual learning platforms and assistive technology.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
