Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher - Valley Farms, AZ

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona DHH Certification (required)
- Active Arizona IVP Fingerprint Card (required)
- Previous experience within a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication skills, creativity, and collaborative mindset
- Dedication to serving students with diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, both one-on-one and in small groups
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success and access to curriculum
- Advocate for accommodations, assistive technology, and accessible resources
- Monitor and report progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to meet student goals
- Cultivate an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that honors all communication modalities
