In this position, you’ll help foster communication skills, promote self-advocacy, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help every student unlock their full potential.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a school setting
- Strong commitment to communication access, language development, and differentiated instruction
- Ability to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and develop tailored strategies
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Support students’ academic and social development through tailored instruction and accommodations
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student needs are met
- Contribute to IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Advocate for access to technology and resources in the learning environment
- May offer training to staff and families on best practices in deaf education
