DHH Teacher | West Jordan, Utah

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid teaching certification for Deaf/Hard of Hearing or eligibility to obtain
- Experience working with children in educational settings, particularly those who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Strong understanding of various communication modalities (e.g., ASL, cued speech, oral communication)
- Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for advocacy and fostering accessible learning opportunities for all students
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver differentiated instruction in alignment with students’ IEP goals
- Use evidence-based strategies to support language development and communication

- Provide consultation and training to staff on best practices for working with deaf and hard of hearing students
- Track and report student progress, adapting instructional plans as needed
