Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

- Experience as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist in schools is highly preferred
- Proficiency supporting students at early childhood, elementary, middle school, and high school levels
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills when working with multidisciplinary teams
- Dedicated to promoting accessible educational practices for all
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, utilizing best-practice teaching strategies
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers to develop and modify lesson plans
- Monitor and document student progress, preparing reports for families and school teams
- Advocate for student needs, participating in IEP meetings and supporting families with resources and guidance
