State Requirements – Tennessee
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or related field
Valid Tennessee teaching license with Deaf/Hard of Hearing endorsement
Previous school-based experience preferred
Typical Job Duties
Provide individualized instruction to students with hearing impairments
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Adapt teaching strategies and materials
Support communication methods including sign language as needed
Participate in IEP development and implementation
