Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Deaf / Hard of Hearing
- Prior experience supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL), auditory/oral communication methods, and assistive technology
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, counselors, therapists, and families
- Excellent communication, organization, and advocacy skills
- Flexibility to adapt services based on student needs and IEP requirements
