Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) - Riverside, CA

Key Qualifications:
- Experience as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist, Teacher for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, or Hearing Impaired Specialist.
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and adaptive communication strategies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to deliver targeted support.
- Strong communication skills, including proficiency with American Sign Language (ASL) or other relevant communication modalities.
- Compassionate, patient approach to working with students of varying ages and abilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support students in classroom and one-on-one settings to facilitate access to curriculum and classroom activities.
- Assist with adaptive technology and resources to aid classroom participation.
