The second position will be determined by student count and will include campus-wide behavioral support duties, requiring strong collaboration and adaptability in dynamic school settings.

Start your journey on August 10, 2026, and continue making a difference through May 31, 2027. With a 40-hour work week, this contract opportunity is designed for those who bring expertise, warmth, and dedication to the classroom environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience working in schools with DHH students is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with diverse teams and learners
  • Flexibility and problem-solving abilities; able to respond to behavioral needs
  • Comfortable in both individualized and group educational settings

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accessible instruction based on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning space tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with families, staff, and related service providers to maximize student success
  • Track and evaluate student progress, reporting outcomes as required
  • Support positive behavior strategies and campus-wide behavioral interventions
