Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working in schools with DHH students is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with diverse teams and learners
- Flexibility and problem-solving abilities; able to respond to behavioral needs
- Comfortable in both individualized and group educational settings
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver accessible instruction based on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning space tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with families, staff, and related service providers to maximize student success
- Track and evaluate student progress, reporting outcomes as required
- Support positive behavior strategies and campus-wide behavioral interventions
