Work Schedule:
- Onsite, 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois State Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing license
- Experience working with deaf or hard of hearing students at the secondary level preferred
- Knowledge of assistive communication technologies and strategies
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- District-specific credentials or clearances as required (e.g., PEL, background checks)
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of deaf/hard of hearing high school students
- Implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives
- Foster communication and self-advocacy skills among students
- Partner with general educators to support classroom inclusion
- Track student progress and participate in IEP meetings
