What you’ll bring:
- Current and active Tennessee Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing (TDHH) license
- Experience supporting children and youth who are deaf or hard of hearing, ideally within a school environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for inclusive education
- Comfort delivering instruction and support via virtual platforms (prior VOCO experience is a plus)
- Commitment to meeting the unique needs of students across elementary to high school grade levels
- Flexibility and reliability in remote environments
What you’ll do:
- Deliver direct virtual instruction and support to DHH students in a variety of grade levels
- Partner closely with IEP teams, general education teachers, and school support staff
- Monitor progress and make data-driven adjustments to instruction
- Liaise with families and caregivers, ensuring ongoing communication about student achievement
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required
- Attend meetings and trainings, contributing your expertise to collaborative educational planning
