Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid DHH (Deaf/Hard of Hearing) teaching credential and CTC licensure (proof required)
- Experience with itinerant or consultative case management preferred
- Proven skill in collaborating with diverse student populations and educational teams
- Exceptional communication and organization abilities
- Ability to adapt to multiple school settings—districtwide placements are all onsite
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and effective learning for students with hearing needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative educational services to students who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing across multiple schools
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to develop and implement individualized strategies and accommodations
- Support transition planning and social integration
- Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation per district guidelines
- Deliver professional development to school staff as needed
- Advocate for accessible instructional materials and technologies
