Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct instructional services to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students for approximately 10 hours per week.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and related service providers to support students in both self-contained and inclusive settings.
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure best practices and student advocacy.
  • Stay current on best practices and resources for Deaf education.
